Violin Class

Where children don't just learn about violin, viola or cello,-
they learnt to think in music.

A musicianship- first orchestral strings program where children develop musical understanding through listening, singing, movement, ensemble playing and joyful music making.

At AudiStrings, children learn music from the inside out. Before reading music notation on a page, they first learn to hear music, feel rhythm, recognise tonal patterns, and develop the inner understanding needed for confident orchestral string playing.

This is not your traditional Orchestral Strings Classes

Many beginner strings programs focus heavily on posture, finger numbers and note reading from the very beginning.

While technique is important, AudiStrings believes true musical understanding must come first

Our program combines:

  • Music Learning Theory-inspired teaching

  • Ensemble-based learning

  • Aural Skill Development

  • Singing and Movement

  • Pattern-based Musicianship

  • Foundational orchestral strings technique

Children do not simply memorise placements.

They learn to understand what they are hearing and playing.

An orchestral strings foundation for young musicians.

Audistrings introduces children to the world of orchestral strings in a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment.

Depending on age, students may explore:

1. Violin

2. Viola

3. Cello

Why AudiStrings?

String instruments are expressive, beautiful and deeply musical- but they can also feel overwhelming for young beginners.

AudiStrings breaks learning into meaningful and achievable steps that help children succeed with confidence.

Children gradually develop:

1. Beautiful Beginner posture and bow hold

2. Rhythmic Stability and steady pulse

3. Pitch Awareness and tonal listening

4.Strong listening and imitation skills

5. Ensemble Awareness

6. Confidence playing with others

7. Musical Independence and creativity

Our students do not just learn how to 'play pieces'.

They develop the inner musicianship needed for lifelong musical growth.

What happens in an AudiStrings Class?

AudiStrings classes are active, engaging and highly interactive.

Inspired by Music Learning Theory (MLT)

Our teaching approach is influenced by the work of Dr Edwin Gordon and Music Learning Theory — a research-informed approach to how children learn music naturally.

This philosophy encourages children to:

  1. Hear music before reading it

  2. Develop rhythm and tonal understanding naturally

  3. Learn through active music making

  4. Build understanding before memorisation

  5. Become independent and expressive musicians

At AudiStrings, we believe children deserve more than simply learning notes.

They deserve to truly understand music.

Begin your child's Orchestral Strings with us!

AudiStrings provides children with a joyful and meaningful foundation in orchestral strings and musicianship.

A place where children learn to listen deeply, play confidently, move musically and grow artistically.

Because at Musicking Maestros, children don’t just learn music.

They become musical.
