Where children don't just learn songs- they learn to think in music
A musicianship-first singing program where children develop musical understanding through listening, singing, movement, creativity and joyful music making.
At AuriSing, children learn music from the inside out.
Before reading notes on a page, they first learn to hear music, feel rhythm, recognise tonal patterns, and develop the inner understanding needed for confident singing and lifelong musicianship.
Hear it. Sing it. Express it.
This is not traditional singing lessons
Many beginner singing programs focus heavily on performance, lyrics and preparing songs for concerts.
While performance has its place, AuriSing believes true musical understanding must come first.
Our program combines:
-
Music Learning Theory-inspired teaching
-
Singing-based musicianship
-
Aural skill development
-
Movement and rhythm activities
-
Pattern-based music learning
-
Creative musical exploration
Children do not simply memorise songs.
They learn to understand what they are hearing, singing and expressing.
A Musical Foundation build through singing

Inspired by Music Learning Theory
Our teaching approach is influenced by the work of Dr Edwin Gordon and Music Learning Theory — a research-informed approach to how children learn music naturally.
This philosophy encourages children to:
-
Hear music before reading it
-
Develop rhythm and tonal understanding naturally
-
Learn through active music making
-
Build understanding before memorisation
-
Become independent and expressive musicians
At AuriSing, we believe children deserve more than simply learning songs.
They deserve to truly understand music.
