Our group drum curriculum is designed to introduce children to the drum kit while fostering a solid foundation in percussion and drumming. The program includes group activities that enhance coordination, develop independence of hands, facilitate the performance of simple rhythmic grooves, and develop skills in reading drumming notation.

 

In addition, your child will have the opportunity to develop their skills in playing in a band, learn drumming rudiments, and engage in creative activities that encourage improvisation.

Materials are presented to the child in a child friendly manner, with a strong focus on differentiated skill levels. This ensures that your child can learn the drums at his/ her own pace as well as being challenged to learn more complex skills in a group.
