Rhythm Kids (Level 1) Demonstration Class

Join us for the Elephant Collection! This is a demonstration class only. The credit you paid for this class is transferrable to Term 1 2026 if you sign up for the full term.

The Elephant Rhythm features triple-meter drumming patterns inspired by the traditional social dance from Mali known as Suku. We'll enjoy dramatic play in "Elephant Stampede," and all kinds of musical fun with our version of the classic, “Skinnamarink” (new this winter!). We'll also learn a Gaelic children's song called "Dilín ó Deamhas" and, of course, have a blast doing "The Elephant Dance"! All the songs in this collection have been chosen and arranged specifically to support each student's music development.
